MISSION.
Our mission is to combat antibiotic pollution in ocean environments through a three-pronged approach of community awareness, youth engagement in science-art integration, and citizen-led environmental monitoring. Beginning in Vancouver and expanding nationwide, we connect diverse communities by educating the public about pharmaceutical threats to marine ecosystems, empowering youth to become creative environmental advocates in their schools and families, and establishing a collaborative surveillance network that maps antibiotic levels in our coastal waters. Through these interconnected efforts, we aim to build lasting partnerships between scientists, artists, youth, and community members across Canada to address this emerging environmental crisis while protecting both ocean and human health for future generations.
